Hey, guys as we know, BlogSpot is one of the most popular and free blogging platforms, but it has some limitations. From those, one is – Google himself always have the option to control of your blog. Google have a full right to delete your blog at any time. This type of incident will happen when you are using your blog for spamming or for any other unwanted activities which violate your BlogSpot TOS. This is one of the top most reason that I keep always suggesting people create a Backup for Blog or move to self-hosted (Dynamic)- WordPress blog for your blog backup purpose.
One thing which you can do for your blog to a periodic backup of your BlogSpot blog or WordPress site.
This will always ensure that if or whenever something goes wrong things with your blog in future, you can always be able to restore your data and posts for your BlogSpot site.
Any BlogSpot blogger can take a complete backup of their BlogSpot posts and comments by using “Export feature” of your BlogSpot Blog.
Your backup will be done in a format of .xml format and you can download this file at your desired place.
This is entirely a Manual process, so it always dependent on you that when you make your Blog Backup. So I suggest to all of you guys to make backup sequentially (weekly or monthly), It will be help full for you & your Blog too.
I recommended you to take a Continuous Backup for your BlogSpot Template always regularly. This process will solve two things especially:
If anytime but mistakenly or for any reason, your blog gets deleted then always you will have a complete backup package of your own Template (Theme).
If your theme code is changed when you are playing with your template and then something will happen wrong, at that time you can restore your previous template from your backup files.
One more thing you can do to keep your site the backup files on Google Drive or Dropbox, so you can access it from anywhere any time quickly.
